I want to book the Star Wars dessert party. I have dinner reservations at 630. The reservation time for the dessert party is 745. Is that the time we have to show up or do we need to be there before 745. I don't want to have to cancel my dinner.

    Dear Maryann,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I totally understand wanting to make the most of your time at Disney's Hollywood Studios and also to maximize your opportunities for delicious Disney cuisine! I'm assuming from your question that your dinner reservation is inside of the park? If so, you should be fine to get to the dessert party in time. I would try to check in a bit early to your dinner reservation because you might not be seated precisely at the reservation time and I don't want you to feel rushed.

After dinner, you can head over to the dessert party. Even if you get there a bit after check-in time, it's fine. I wouldn't want to be too late though, because you want to have the chance to partake of all of the delicious sweets that they have. There is another time limit to be aware of, though, which is that 15 minutes before the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks and projection show, a Cast Member will escort you to the exclusive viewing area so that you have the absolute best view for the show!

Have a terrific trip and enjoy all of your experiences!
