Hi, if we book a standard room at the Disneyland Hotel for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids), are we guaranteed a room with 2 queen beds? (vs. a room with only 1 King bed)

    Hi there, Adam!

Welcome to planDisney.  I’m thrilled your family is thinking about staying at the Disneyland Hotel this summer! I can’t help but smile the moment I walk through those magical doors.

When it comes to room assignments, you can rest easy! Rooms are assigned based on the number of registered Guests in your party, so a family of more than two will have at least two beds. At the Disneyland Hotel, you may even end up with three (two queens plus a day bed). I personally love rooms with three beds because it keeps my kids from kicking each other (or me!) all night! If you want to elevate the experience, you could also consider booking a deluxe or premium room, which typically offers a fantastic view of the pool area.

Speaking of pools, make sure to carve out time for a swim. My kids can’t get enough of the Monorail‑themed waterslides, and I’m perfectly happy lounging with a cold drink from Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill. Of course, I absolutely take a turn on the slides too (at least when it's hot outside...no cold water for me!).

For breakfast, you might want to book a reservation at Goofy’s Kitchen before heading into the parks, which is available up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland website or app. It’s high‑energy, character‑filled, and packed with food options that make everyone happy. If you prefer something quick, you can also mobile order from Tangaroa Terrace on the app. The Ube‑Stuffed French Toast is amazingly delicious!

Adam, have an incredible time at Disneyland! We hope to see you real soon!
