Hi Miranda! Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to answer your question today.
I am a big fan of split stays. They give you a taste of more than one
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and since there are so many, I get to check off more than one with each trip! As a
Disney Vacation Club member, it's my goal to visit all of the Disney Vacation Club properties. During my upcoming trip this summer, I'll be checking off
Disney's Old Key West Resort and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. I can't wait!
If I'm reading your question correctly, you want to go to the theme parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort for four days but want two of the days to coincide with your first stay and the other two with your second. Because of this, I would recommend purchasing two days of tickets for each stay. I suggest this because these tickets are date-based and while you don't have to use them on consecutive days, a four-day ticket expires 7 days after the selected start date. For example, if your first day in the parks is January 15th, you would have to use all four days by January 21st. So if you were planning on visiting the parks after January 21st, you wouldn't be able to with that ticket. When you go to book each stay, take a look at the dates of your
ticket window to help decide which option is best for you!
Miranda, if you've been waiting for the return of the
Disney Dining Plan, you're in luck! It is now available to add to your vacation with stays starting on or after January 9, 2024. Plus, you'll want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see if the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be offered when you are there. This is one of the newer festivals at
EPCOT and it is truly unique. The whole park takes on a very creative and artsy feel. And the offerings at the
Food Studios are outrageous! Be sure to reach out to my friends
Prince and
Aena about all the details of this
festival!
Enjoy your winter trip to the resort! If you have any other questions,
please reach out to me. I'd be happy to help you maximize the magic during your next visit!
If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you’ll learn things you never knew,
