Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Andrew! It’s a frightfully fun time. My personal favorite offering at the party is Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. The Headless Horseman kicks off the parade, and it features the Hitchhiking Ghosts among many other Disney characters in their Halloween best!
To answer your question, Andrew, your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket does not allow you to book
Lightning Lanes on the day of the party. I can confirm that to purchase and book Lightning Lanes before the party officially begins at 7 PM, you would still need a regular theme park ticket for Magic Kingdom or a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option.
With that said, in my experience, wait times during party hours tend to be modest when compared to wait times during regular theme park hours. You’ll find that even popular attractions such as
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train have very manageable wait times. In my opinion, the best strategy for the party is to make a list of your top priorities. These can be entertainment offerings, attractions, character experiences, and more. Anything else that you can accomplish on top of those becomes the icing on the cake that is your evening!
Make sure to catch Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, which is the fireworks show for the event. It only happens once at 10 PM, and it’s quite the spectacular! I also highly recommend visiting the Trick-or-Treat stations throughout the park. You never know which special characters you may see on the trails!
