Hiya Joe - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with a question about where to stay during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation next summer!
At Walt Disney World Resort hotels each room is a separate reservation, so you will be making two separate reservations if you would like two rooms. If you are interested in connecting or adjacent rooms you might want to
call and speak to a Cast Member to make your reservations over the phone. If you do make your own reservations online, I would still suggest that you call in to request that your reservations are linked together with notes in each reservation if you'd like to request connecting or adjacent rooms (if available).
Joe, I also want to point out some alternative room types for you to consider instead of two separate standard rooms. For example, the 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas and the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas at
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts can sleep more Guests than a standard room. You might also want to check out the Treehouse Villas at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation and
All-Star Music Resorts, and more! Each room type will describe exactly what sleeping arrangements there are, including bed types and sizes. Even though a room may say it accommodates eight Guests, if you want each of the five people in your crew to have their own bed, you might need a larger room type - please keep this in mind!
Do some research and you can always
pop back over to planDisney with questions if you're having trouble deciding. I hope this information is helpful, Joe - we hope to see you again real soon!
