Hi Amy!
Welcome to planDisney. I love that you are already thinking ahead about your group's 2025 summer vacation plans. Planning and counting down to a magical trip is part of the fun, and I'd be happy to help!
My family of 4 has stayed at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort on more than one occasion and always appreciated the Value pricing and adorable movie theming throughout the resort and pool area. While we're all able to fit into one room, I can understand why you'd prefer more space traveling with a larger party. I'm not sure if you've already looked into the
Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort, but they do accommodate up to 6 adults. The main area features 2 Queen Murphy beds in addition to a private Queen bedroom. These suites also have two bathrooms as well as a kitchenette area with a microwave and full-size refrigerator.
If your mother-in-law still craves more space during your stay, you'll need to book the resort rooms as two individual reservations. You'll indicate which guests are assigned to each reservation, so just be sure not to duplicate any members of your travel party. As you're completing the bookings you can also request nearby rooms. You'll see "Room and Amenity requests" beneath the list of guests' names once you reach the check-out page. Click that link to request a nearby room, room with connecting door, or indicate you don't need either option for your reservations. Keep in mind that requests aren't guaranteed, but Cast Members always try their best to make a little magic.
At this time,
Walt Disney World Resort bookings are available through the end of 2024, so you still have plenty of time to decide which resort accommodations will work best for your travel party. We saw announcements for 2024 dates on May 31, 2023, so I'd keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog beginning next spring to see when 2025 dates are released. If you need assistance making your room or vacation package reservations you can always
reach out to a Cast Member by phone as well.
I hope this was helpful, Amy. Please stop back and see us again with more planning questions.
Magic and memories,
Amy
