Hi there, Latisha! Welcome to planDisney. The Grand Californian is a wonderful spot to spend time with family. Of all the hotels on property, it is my absolute favorite. The grand hall is a sight to behold as you walk in. Whether I’m staying with family or friends, magic is always made when I’m there.
I went ahead and took a look to see what can be done through the
Disneyland website, and I noticed that it would only allow one room per single booking. With that in mind and your need for 5 rooms, I would go ahead and book 5 separate rooms. From there, you’ll be given a reservation or confirmation number for each resort reservation, which you’ll be able to link together through the
Disneyland app. In addition, you can also call their front desk at (714)-956-6425, and a Cast Member can assist you in linking the reservations together.
While staying at the Grand Californian, have you given any thought to making a dining reservation during your stay? My favorite place to dine with a group is
Storytellers Cafe. The playful spirit of the characters you encounter while you dine makes for a memorable meal filled with belly laughs. Similar to your hotel booking, you'll want to make multiple dining reservations to accommodate your group with staggering the time slots so you can all dine together. While it may not always be guaranteed when you ask, Cast Members do their best to seat you all together or at least in the same area!
Latisha, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope this information was helpful as you continue to plan your group visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions until your visit, planDisney is here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
