If I book a room using DVC points, am I able to upgrade the room with cash upon arrival? For example if I booked a standard view room at either of the AK DVC properties, could I pay with cash to upgrade to a Savannah view?

    Hi Andrea!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney! From one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, let me extend to you a warm “welcome home.” It would be my pleasure to help answer your question about upgrading your Disney Vacation Club Membership reservation using cash upon arrival at your Disney Vacation Club Resort

There are so many fabulous accommodations found in the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, each offering unique theming, with spacious options that can accommodate families and amenities that make you feel at home during your stay. Unfortunately, a Vacation Points reservation cannot be upgraded using cash. You can use your Vacation Points to book fewer nights and then add extra days by making a cash reservation, borrow Vacation Points from your next Use Year, or purchase up to 24 additional Vacation Points for one-time use

I hope you can book the vacation of your dreams using your Disney Vacation Club Membership! Please stop back by planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions or offer you advice on making the most of your Disney Vacation Club Membership.
