Hello, Gena! Welcome back to planDisney!
I am so happy to hear that you are initially planning to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your visit next year. With a resort for every budget, it is hard to say no to all the
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel! My family tries to stay at a different resort each visit, as each one offers a unique experience. It's also great to easily step from the world created for you at your resort, to a new world at each theme park via the
complimentary transportation included in your stay!
In this current world where things seem to change from day to day, Mickey Mouse understands that your travel arrangements may change as well. In the event you decide to stay off property, you will need to
cancel your full vacation package and repurchase theme park tickets before you arrive. If you cancel at least 30 days prior to your arrival, the amount you have paid toward your vacation package, minus any non-refundable or cancellation fees, will be refunded to you. As policies are subject to change, be sure to review your
vacation terms and conditions before you cancel.
When you book your vacation package, you will want to be sure to also make reservations to access to one theme park for each day that you have a ticket through
Disney's Park Pass system. Reservations for each theme park are a part of
Walt Disney World Resort's commitment to manage attendance to align with their physical distancing efforts. In the event you do cancel your vacation package, I would recommend you purchase your new theme park tickets first, and then
contact a Disney World Vacation Planning Specialist by phone to cancel without losing your Park Pass reservations.
Visit us again at planDisney if you have any additional questions before your visit, Gena. No reservations required!
See ya real soon! Angie
