If I book a room only reservation at Pop now and then purchase tickets through Disney before my 60 day mark, does it change my reservation to a package or do they stay separate?

Hi, Nicole! You are welcome to build the pieces of your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation as you go, which can really help you budget for the trip. I have actually done this several times and it helped me add even more fun enhancements in the end since I did not have to pay for it all at once.

When you book a Disney Resort Hotel room and link it to your My Disney Experience account, that "room-only" stay will not be affected by the addition of Disney Theme Park Tickets or other bits of pixie dust that you may later also link to your account. If you would like to convert your room-only stay to a Disney Resort Hotel Package, then you will need to give Disney Resort Reservations a call to see if this can be done. There are certain restrictions when doing so, mostly the deadlines for full payment and any expiration dates associated with any Special Offers you may have used to book the room. I find it best to make any changes to my visit as soon as possible to increase the chances of the change being possible. There are lots of Magical Extras included in Disney Resort Hotel Packages, so it may be worth it to check on the ability to swap to one!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!
