If I book a room only reservation for May, can I change my reservation and add a ticket package later in April if I decided I wanted them?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted you stopped by and are honored that you have chosen us to help you plan your upcoming Disney World vacation! It looks like you will be arriving in a few months...WOO HOO! I know you are all counting down the days until you arrive at the "Most MAGICAL Place on Earth!"

You ask a great question! My recommendation would be to call a Cast Member and ask them to look and see if your room-only reservation would be eligible to change to a vacation package. I find that speaking to a Cast Member and explaining your situation would allow you to find out quickly if you can modify your reservation

If, for some reason, you are not allowed to modify your reservation, you could cancel your room-only reservation and make a new Disney Vacation Package. What will happen is the Cast Member will check and see if there is a room available at your preferred resort with a package. If there is, they will cancel your room-only reservation and then book the vacation package.

NOTE: You can always purchase Disney Theme Park tickets separately and keep your room-only reservations.

I hope these options help you make the best decision for your trip. If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! You can also check the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information about all things Disney!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
