Hello Julia, and welcome to planDisney.
I am more excited than Gaston when he looks in a mirror to answer your question about taking the first steps to planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
To begin your "adventure in the great wide somewhere," visit the
Walt Disney World Resort website. At the top of the page, you will see "Build Your Vacation." Here, you can enter the dates you're considering and the number of Guests in your travel party, and if you don't have a specific Resort hotel in mind, be sure to set your search to "All Resort Hotels." After that, click the green "View Rates" button to start building your vacation.
Once you select a Resort hotel that interests you, you can choose between a room-only rate, a package rate, or check for any special offers available during your travel dates. As you plan your vacation, you'll also have the opportunity to add theme park tickets, a dining plan, or
Memory Maker.I hope this helps you get started on your magical journey! I see that your vacation date is approaching quickly, so I recommend booking as soon as possible. Remember, you can begin making your Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days before your arrival date, so don't miss out on those reservations as soon as they become available. Restaurants such as
Be Our Guest Restaurant or
Chef Mickey's can book quickly.
As you plan, feel free to reach out if you need advice on restaurants, attractions, or even where to find the Grey Stuff—yes, it's delicious!
Happy planning,
Shonette
