If I book my room online & buy our park tickets at the Disney Store, can I call and add the dining package? Or do I need to just go ahead and book the package all together? I've heard tickets are cheaper in the store.

In order to get the dining plan, your room and tickets must be purchased at the same time in a 'Magic Your Way' package.  I have not purchased park tickets in the Disney Store so I can't swear to this, but I do not believe that they are any cheaper than pre-purchasing tickets directly from Disney World.  I looked at tickets there several years ago and at that time they were the same price as a walk-up ticket in Disney World.

I can say with certainty that the discounts on Disney tickets are not significant anywhere.  The ticket prices are pretty much standard, and when you find them discounted it is generally by just a few dollars.  The savings that the dining plan offers would more than offset any potential ticket savings.
