Hi Bruce,
Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us.
It sounds like you have a fun crew planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Hopefully, everyone will make the voyage, but in case someone might need to stay on land, there are some things to know about the
terms and conditions of your cruise contract. If changes are made to the overall party size, it may result in a change to the rate. As for cancellation fees, they vary based on the length of your cruise and when the cancellation is made.
You can
modify your travel details, including adding or removing Guests from your travel party, online by navigating to
My Reservations and then selecting Modify Reservation under the Already Booked tab. Bruce, I recommend that you
call Disney Cruise Line if you have more questions about your options. They will be able to assist you with the specific details of your reservation and explain the options you will have if someone in your reservation needs to cancel.
When traveling with friends and family, I like to select connecting rooms. You can find these on the deck plan while making your reservation. These rooms are indicated by small "door" symbols between the rooms. If you select staterooms with verandahs, you can ask your Stateroom Host to open the dividers between the verandahs (weather permitting). It makes for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee from
Room Service!
I hope your plans all work out and you have smooth sailing ahead. Please let us know if you have other questions as you plan your adventure at sea.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
