Hi. I can book at reservation at Oga’s canteen for times after 9pm but the park hours show closing is 9pm. Is it safe to book the reservation? Do they let you in the park to keep your reservation? Thanks

    Bright Suns, Anne!

Thanks for bringing such a stellar question to planDisney!

Booking a reservation at Oga's Cantina after the park closes in Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios is a fantastic tip for any galactic traveler —  and it's one of my personal favorites! In my opinion, it's the best time to visit this iconic spot. As the twin suns set on Batuu and the crowds thin, you'll find yourself in an out-of-this-galaxy experience worthy of any Rebel, bounty hunter, or First Order sympathizer.

Sipping on exotic concoctions like the Fuzzy Tauntaun or the Cliff Dweller as DJ R-3X drops beats is the perfect way to wind down after a day of thrilling adventures. The dim lighting and the cantina's vibrant atmosphere make you feel like you've just stepped off a star cruiser and into the heart of the galaxy's most famous watering hole.

An after-hours reservation also offers a rare chance to explore Black Spire Outpost illuminated by Batuu's nighttime glow. Imagine capturing holo-worthy shots of the Millennium Falcon docked underneath the stars without a single stormtrooper, or fellow traveler, in sight.

For the ultimate Star Wars adventure, be sure to purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass to maximize your time in Batuu. Choose Smugglers Run as one of your pre-selections for a chance to pilot the legendary Millennium Falcon. Additionally, make sure to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Rise of the Resistance to experience one of the most immersive and thrilling battles against the First Order in the galaxy.

Anne, for a Star Wars fan, this is the ultimate way to cap off a mission-filled day in a galaxy far, far away.

May the Force be with you,
