Hi Donna!
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your Disney World vacation is right around the corner, so let’s get straight to your answer.
To book a Private VIP Tour, you will need to call the VIP Tour phone line. You can find the number, as well as lots of other important information, at
the Private VIP Tours webpage on Disney World’s website.
VIP Tours can be booked up to 60 days in advance and have limited availability, so I recommend calling as soon as you can to book.
It’s good to note that, in addition to booking the VIP Tour, you will also need theme park tickets to enter the park. If you plan to visit more than one theme park during your tour, make sure you have the
park hopper option on your ticket.
If it just so happens that you aren’t able to book a VIP Tour, you may want to consider purchasing
Lightning Lane Premier Pass for your park day instead (pending availability). Although you will only be able to use the pass in one park (instead of visiting multiple parks like you can with a VIP Tour), it’s a great way to skip the long standby queues at the attractions.
With Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you can scan into each available Lightning Lane once during your park day whenever you’d like. No need to book any return times. I’ve used this service in the past, and it made for such a laid-back day!
If that’s the route you want to go, your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your resort check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket for date-based tickets.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you snag a VIP Tour spot for your vacation, though! It sounds like such an amazing experience!
Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan. We’ll see you real soon!
