    I want to book a Play n' Dine sit-down lunch at Hollywood & Vine with the Disney Jr. characters during our upcoming trip, & I also want to do the Fantasmic! dining package that day. Is it possible to do the character lunch & get the VIP Fantasm

    Hi Cassie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There are three restaurants at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that offer the Fantasmic! Dining Package for lunch and dinner – The Hollywood Brown Derby, Hollywood & Vine, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano. My girls are huge fans of Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins, so I have found the Disney Jr. Play ‘n Dine character buffet at Hollywood & Vine to be a great way for them meet these characters. I am happy to report to you that you will be able to have lunch there with Disney Jr. friends and still take part in the Fantasmic! Dining Package.

    Advance dining reservations for the Fantasmic! Dining Package are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit. You will receive your VIP seating voucher upon the conclusion of your meal. While there is a designated area for Guests who utilize the Dining Package, you do need to plan to arrive at Hollywood Hills Amphitheater 20 to 30 minutes prior to showtime as seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Showtimes can be found on the Times Guide at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You will find the VIP seating entrance on Sunset Boulevard next to Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage.
