can I book a package on this site and stay at a hotel and not a Disney resort

Hi Lisa and welcome to planDisney!

I’m so happy you’ve stopped by to visit us with your planning question. Here at planDisney, you have a group of people who just love to give advice about planning your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you stay at a hotel within the Disney Resort Collection or offsite, you can still enjoy your time at the theme parks.

While we are not able to help you book your next vacation, you can absolutely come to us for advice about how to go about planning out your days, when you visit Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Lisa, I invite you to take a look at our Panel Extras section. We love to share all our planning tips, based on our own personal experiences, when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and the Disneyland Resort in California. We’ve just about covered every topic we can think of! But of course, guests like you can always send us questions, for one of us to be able to provide you with a personalized answer.

After browsing our Panel Extras section and the official Walt Disney World Resort webpage, please feel free to send us more questions you may have about planning your next visit.

We’re always around if you need us!
