Hi Ashley!
Welcome to
planDisney!
I'm thrilled that your family is visiting
Walt Disney World next April! Spring is a beautiful time of year to visit and you can enjoy
EPCOT's International Flower & Garden Festival. There are gorgeous topiaries displayed throughout the parks.
Now Ashley, on to your question. You can book two rooms online on the Walt Disney World website, but you will need to process these as two separate transactions with two separate reservation numbers. To do this:
1. Visit the
resort reservation page, enter the dates you are visiting and indicate the number of guests.
2. Click search and the rooms that are available will pop up.
3. Select your desired resort and room type.
4. You will then be brought to a screen to select the number of park tickets you want to add to your package.
5. Click check-out to enter your credit card information and finalize the reservation. Make a note of your reservation number.
You will then want to go through all of these steps again to book the second room.
After you book both of your rooms, complete the
online request form to request adjoining rooms. Select "Disney Resort Hotel Reservations" in the subject line and provide the Resort Reservation Number(s) in the body of the message. Make sure to detail your request regarding the adjoining room request for your family as soon as possible. You can also call (407) 939-1936 to speak to a Cast Member about your request.
While Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request for adjacent rooms or connecting rooms, there isn't any guarantee that these types of requests can be accommodated. In my experience, Disney does a great job at making these requests possible though.
And Ashley, another option is to book a room large enough to hold all seven of your family members. At
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you can get a Casitas Executive Suite, which can sleep up to eight adults. This room has 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, and 1 Queen-Sized Sleeper Sofa.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
