Ahoy, Maria Cristina,
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney! You're almost ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line on your magical adventure.
Both Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World Resort are about an hour from Port Canaveral, so it's important to plan how to get to and from the port. If you decide to stay at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can take advantage of Mears Connect, which offers a 24/7 service with a Standard and Express option for purchase. You can choose a one-way fare since you'll be going to
Port Canaveral. An easy way to get to Port Canaveral is to purchase
ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line, which will pick you up directly from your Disney Resort hotel. A convenient perk is that your luggage will be collected from your room on your departure morning and loaded onto the motor coach. It will magically be delivered outside your stateroom in the afternoon! Since your cruise is quickly approaching, I recommend
calling Disney Cruise Line as soon as possible to add your ground transportation at 1(800) 951-3532. Monday-Friday agents are ready to assist you from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm and from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. The cutoff for adding this service is three days before departure. You can also add DCL ground transportation back to the Orlando International Airport for your flight home.
Maria Cristina, please review the Disney Cruise Line
packing list as you prepare for your sailing this week! And leave some space for some magical souvenirs, as the
shops are always stocked with some fantastic Disney Cruise Line merchandise. Also, if you see something on the first night, I always recommend purchasing it then, as sizes are typically not restocked.
It was a pleasure assisting you! Have the most wonderful vacation with Mickey and the gang.
Nancy
