Hi Frederic, welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear you're considering a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My favorite Disney memories are not attractions, they're the silly antics of my family and friends on the attractions. My Disney scrapbook doesn't contain pictures of delicious food, but pictures of the smiles shared while enjoying delicious food.
The Most Magical Place on Earth provides the magical backdrops and experiences, you provide the people. Your people. The Most Magical People on Earth.
When booking a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package
online, the overall cost and ticket type attaches to each Guest's age at check-in. A child that is 9 years old on check-in day, also referred to as the "Time of Travel," is classified as a child for the package length. If you make a separate purchase for a special event ticket after the child turns 10 (Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, etc.), their age requires an adult ticket.
Birthdays are a big deal at Walt Disney World Resort. Make sure the honoree stops by the front desk of your
Disney Resort hotel to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button. This button should be worn proudly throughout your vacation to get showered with kindness. If your celebration involves a
table service dining experience, I also recommend adding a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake during the online reservation process.
Thanks for trusting planDisney with such an important trip-planning question, Frederic. I hope to plan with you again soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
