Hi there, Andy! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for bringing your question our way!
Oh boy! It sounds like you're planning a very exciting trip to
Walt Disney World Resort with a crew of people! Magic multiplies when it's shared with people you care about and you're sure to have an extra special vacation ahead of you. Like you, I'm planning a trip with our friends for next year that will require multiple rooms to be booked at the same resort. While there isn't a way to book multiple rooms in a single transaction, I have a few steps that will help you make these reservations!
First, my best tip would be to make sure that all the Guests in your travel party create a
My Disney Experience account. This will help every step of the planning process, from booking your vacation package to making
advance dining reservations in the future! Once you're all connected on your
Family & Friends List, you can book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation for the Guests in your first room. After you complete that reservation, book your second room separately, and then request either a nearby room or connecting door on the final confirmation page under "Room and Amenity Requests." Alternatively, you could also
call a friendly Cast Member for assistance with booking these rooms! All you'll need to do is contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and they'll help you with your next steps.
Once you have all of your rooms booked and your Guests connected, I'd suggest taking some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app! This will allow you to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, access
virtual queues, and even
mobile order food in the parks. This app is my favorite way of minimizing waits and maximizing the fun!
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to write to us again, Andy. We're always happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
Michelle
