Ahoy, Edward! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your great question. I’d love to help you plan your
Disney Treasure vacation...she’s such a stunning ship!
Like you, I usually try to book a stateroom midship. Since I’m a bit prone to motion sickness, I’ve found that midship locations on the mid level decks (around Deck 6 or 7) tend to experience the least movement. Oceanview or verandah staterooms are also great choices since they let you enjoy fresh air and keep an eye on the horizon.
When booking online, start by selecting your desired sailing on the Disney Cruise Line website. Once you’ve chosen your itinerary and added your travel party, you’ll reach the “
Select Your Stateroom” page. There, you can pick your preferred stateroom category (Inside, Oceanview, or Verandah) and then use the ship map to select a specific midship room. It’s easy to see which part of the ship each stateroom is in.
If you’d like to plan ahead, you can also review the
deck plans for the Disney Treasure to jot down a few midship stateroom numbers that fit what you’re looking for. This will help you get a sense of what’s nearby, and whether you’d like to be close to the dining rooms, cafés, or pools. And of course, if you prefer a little extra help, the friendly Disney Cruise Line reservation agents are happy to walk you through the process over the
phone.
Once your stateroom is booked, the fun really begins! Be sure to check out Plaza de Coco, a guest-favorite dining experience with music and storytelling that continues across two nights, and don’t miss the Haunted Mansion Parlor, an all-new lounge inspired by the beloved attraction.
Hope this helps, Edward, and sea ya real soon!
Warm wishes,
Eean
