If we book a meal reservation do we all have to eat e.g. two or three courses? We have children and infants in our party and also adults with light appetites. We have Disney dining fast food plan but would perhaps like a table service once or twice too.

    Dear Audrey,

So glad that you reached out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Great question about dining! You mentioned that you have the Magic Your Way plus Quick-Service Dining Plan, which is a great choice for families such as yours, who want the flexibility to eat light, or to have options such as child-sized portions for the younger members of your party.

With the Quick-Service Dining Plan, families do still sometimes choose to enjoy a table service meal here and there as well, which is a great way to give yourself options. When you're paying separately for the table service meal (not using a dining plan credit for that meal), you absolutely have complete freedom as to what menu items you might like to order. This would also of course include choosing the kids' meals that the younger members of your party might prefer. You definitely do not have to purchase two or three courses if you don't want to, though you might be surprised after all of the walking and fun you've had all day long that you might be more hungry than you imagined!

Hope that you have an absolutely magical trip, and that you find the right balance for your family of table service and quick-service delicious options!
