    How book meal plan

    Hello Daniel,

Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World, and have already discovered one of my favorite things I like to include in my family's Disney vacation package: the Disney Dining Plan. Personally, I feel this enhances our trip so much! I'd love to explain the details for you.

Currently, to be able to purchase a meal plan (a.k.a. Disney Dining Plan) you must book a Walt Disney World vacation package which includes a resort room, theme park tickets, and a dining plan. During the online booking process, you will have the opportunity to add a meal plan and will be given two options: Disney Dining Plan or Disney Quick-Service Plan. By toggling between them you can see the added cost to your package, and decide what's best for your party.

I think both of these options are terrific! My preference is Disney Dining Plan, because it gives us an opportunity to enjoy one relaxing, sit down table service meal each day. Disney World has some extraordinary dining experiences to choose from! From a savory African cuisine buffet with live savanna animals right outside your window at Boma, to an exciting character dining experience like Chef Mickey's where you not only get a delicious meal... but you'll get to meet some of your favorite Disney pals, too. These are two of my family's favorites!

It looks like your arrival date is coming up soon. If you already have a Disney reservation, you can log on to My Disney Experience, go to "My Plans", and you should be able to click "Change Reservation" and add a dining plan. If for any reason this doesn't work, you can call a helpful Cast Member and they'll be happy to help you do so. If you do add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation, please be sure to make some Advance Dining Reservations right away, for each day of your stay.

Have a wonderful time when you visit Disney World soon, I'm excited for you! If you need any dining ideas or other recommendations.... please let us know at planDisney we'd be happy to help.

    See ya real soon!
    Tami
