    Hello, when can I book my May 2024 Disneyland vacation package? I’m looking to book good neighbor across the street with park tickets. We are also wanting to book two separate rooms. Are we able to do that on the site in one booking?

    Hiya Dawn! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! 

    I'm really excited for you to begin planning your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Even though we're over a year away, it's never too early to get hyped with anticipation! I have a countdown calendar on my desk that's always moving towards my next Disney trip and it helps to keep the anticipation level high.

    Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages for the following calendar year are typically released towards the end of summer, usually the latter half of August, so I would recommend checking back at that time. There will be an initial down payment but you may then make payments however you'd like as long as the balance is paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. In order to book two separate rooms, you'll have to make two different bookings through the Disneyland website. There are several Good Neighbor Hotels nearby that I would recommend. Here are a few with which I've had good experiences:

    • The Tropicana Inn & Suites is about as close as you can get! All you need to do is cross Harbor Blvd. and you'll be at the Main Entrance in no time at all. For some reason, this one did not show up with the "Across the Street" filter.
    • The Candy Cane Inn is a fan favorite south of the Main Entrance and you won't have to cross any major thoroughfares to get to the Esplanade. It recently re-opened after an extensive renovation and continental breakfast is included (a big win in my book!). The floral decorations and oasis theming make this property very relaxing.
    • Another fan favorite is the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground. You'll walk a bit south on Harbor before getting to the Entrance but the kids in your party will enjoy the Water Playground.
    • When I'm on a budget and don't mind a bit more of a walk, I like the Best Western Plus Stovall's Inn. They've got a great breakfast and they're in a convenient location. You'll be on the other side of the Disneyland Resort, closer to the Downtown Disney District.

    If you'd like to see the Good Neighbor Hotels in relation to their location to the Resort, you can use this map. As your vacation approaches, be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. You might be in the middle of Star Wars fever if this year is any indication!
