Hi Jessica,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! I recently had a message when I visited the Grand Floridian. After all that walking, it was nice to have some quiet, relaxing time and be kind to my body. Stopping by
Tenaya Stone Spa at the
Grand Californian sounds like a great way to cap off a Disneyland vacation.
I was able to speak with a helpful Cast Member at Tenaya to see what amenities they offer to guests who book services. They were able to confirm that guests who book massages, facials, or body treatments will have access to the eucalyptus steam room and the relaxation lounge before and after their service. Unfortunately, they do not have a hot tub like
The Grand Floridian Spa. While you may be missing the hot tub, the steam room should be quite enjoyable.
After your relaxing massage, take a walk down to the Downtown Disney area and enjoy a nice dinner and entertainment. The downtown area has seen a
lot of upgrades in the last couple of years, and Disney has recently announced
more changes to Downtown Disney. Be sure to check out the
ultimate guide to the Downtown Disney area. I’m a big fan of
The Vista, which is the upstairs lounge at Parkside Market. I like that I can overlook part of
Downtown Disney. I got a drink called “On the Wing,” because it comes in a really cool bird glass. As you sit in the lounge, you can hear the entertainment from the
LIVE! Stage.
I hope this information was helpful, Jessica. If you have any other questions, need additional help, or would love more advice, please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelists, and we’d be happy to assist.
Have a relaxing spa day!
Melinda
