Greetings, Grace! Thank you for stopping by planDisney as you plan your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort holiday. It sounds like you're within your 60-day booking window, so let's troubleshoot ways to help add some pixie dust to your adventure.
Our guests from the UK have a few limitations on what they can book before arriving in the United States. You can typically schedule experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collections once you arrive, but availability can be limited. I suggest checking on your mobile app as soon as your plane lands; look for openings later in your visit to improve your chances. But I also have some possibilities to try sooner.
My panelist pal Sue lives in England and recommends using an authorized Disney vacation planner based in the USA or Canada to book activities. Another option is to try your mobile app's "Chat With Us" feature for assistance. Check out
Sue's fabulous advice, and feel free to contact her directly. I'm waving my fairy godmother wand that you'll snag reservations, Grace!
You can also inquire about last-minute openings once you're onsite. I've had mixed success doing this; one morning, I was told there were no openings for
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, but I found a spot for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park in person. It's always worth a try!
My final tip is to check with your Disney Resort hotel for activities during your visit. Recently, I found several opportunities for arts and crafts projects at the
Dig Site pool area at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Kids and kids-at-heart could create tie-dye tees or decorate drink tumblers by the pool. No reservations needed! That's the Disney magic I love most. Look for an activities schedule posted in the lobby or pool area, or ask any Cast Member at your resort.
Grace, I hope your visit is practically perfect and full of treasured memories. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
