Hi Genevieve!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, a group of Disney vacation enthusiasts eager to help you plan the most magical visit to
Walt Disney World. Using the
Lightning Lane passes is a great way to maximize your magic while reducing the time spent waiting in line for your favorite attractions. Let’s dig a little deeper into the process of booking both Lightning Lane Single Pass experiences and Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences.
If you are a Guest staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, you can book your Lightning Lane experiences 7 days before your arrival date, starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book your Lightning Lane experiences 3 days before your first park visit, starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time. Before you can book your Lightning Lane selections, you must have valid theme park admission. You might also need a
theme park reservation depending on the type of
theme park ticket you are using.
You can purchase all your Lightning Lane passes for the same day in a single transaction. You can determine the order in which you select your Lightning Lane Single Pass or Multi Pass by what attraction you most want to experience. I would always grab that attraction first on each day, moving to other Lightning Lane selections once you have that one secured. For instance,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is my favorite attraction, so I always grab a Single Pass Lightning Lane for it first. My dear friend and fellow
Panelist Betsy informed me that she always selects her Multi Pass experiences first because they tend to book quickly. So, you have a few different plans of attack when booking your Lightning Lane experiences.
I hope this information helps you plan an unforgettable visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, Genevieve! We are always here and happy to help answer your vacation questions, so please stop back by planDisney any time.
