    Hey there, hi there, Missy!

We’re so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question for us.

I’m elated that you want to visit Walt Disney World Resort in January! What a magical way to ring in the new year. In fact, January is one of my favorite times to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. The parks feel much more peaceful after the hustle and bustle of the holidays, and I love the cool and crisp weather!

Missy, you may have to wait just a little longer to book your January vacation, as the dates for next year have not yet been released. Hakuna matata, Missy. It means no worries because historically, dates for the following year have been announced around Spring and Summer months. Because it could be anytime now, I recommend watching the Walt Disney World Resort website for the dates of your vacation to be released.

I also recommend watching for the release dates of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Historically, the festival occurs during January and is the most stunning and colorful festival of the year! It’s incredible to be able to see artists create masterpieces in front of your eyes. Watching your favorite Broadway stars performing and being able to create art yourself are just some of the reasons this festival has become a favorite of mine. You’ll find even the cuisine at the Food Studios to be artful!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Missy! Have an enchanting visit!
