how can i book glimmering greenhouse tour on the my disney experience

Hi there, Marty, and welcome to planDisney! The holiday season is my favorite time of year at Disney World because everything is a little more magical and sparkly.

The Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses tour is one of my must-dos for my December visit, so let’s chat about how to secure a spot on this evening tour! Since you’re arriving in late November, you should already be able to book Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses since reservations opened on October 9th for all available dates within the 60-day mark.

Now that booking is open, reservations will open according to the usual timeline for Enchanting Extras. Disney Resort hotel guests can book as early as 60 days before check-in for their entire length of stay (up to a 10-night stay). This is a nice perk for snagging popular experiences, like the Glimmering Greenhouses tour. All other guests can make reservations starting 60 days in advance.

To book the tour, visit the Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses page and click the Check Available Days button. You can also do this through the My Disney Experience app by searching for Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses and then clicking the Check Availability button on the tour page.

It looks like this seasonal offering is fully booked for most dates at the moment. But Hakuna Matata! Keep checking the website, especially as you get closer to your trip. I’ve often been able to pick up cancellations for Enchanting Extras and dining reservations in the days leading up to my vacation.

The daytime Behind the Seeds tour will also be running during the holiday season, so that would be another option if you can’t get a spot on one of the evening tours. Regardless of which tour you take, be sure to come back at night to ride Living with the Land and fully experience the glowing lights and decorations!

In the coming weeks, keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for more details on holiday happenings at Disney World, including the foodie guide for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. In the meantime, I love to look at last year’s guide to start getting excited!

I hope you have the best visit ever during the merriest time of the year at Disney World! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
