About to book our first trip to WDW for early next April. My husband walks with a stick and we will be bringing a wheelchair. My son is 10. Not sure whether to go for the PO resort or Saratoga. Which do you recommend for us?

    Hi Gina!

All of the Walt Disney World resorts are extremely accomodating to all guests, including those with mobility issues. When you make your reservation, make sure to note that you will need a room on the first floor and close to an elevator, as well as a handicapped accessible room. You can also rent an ECV if you think that would make getting around the parks easier than using a wheelchair.

I think that Port Orleans is a wonderful resort and it's easy to navigate. You can use the WDW Transportation system to get around, as all of the WDW buses are equipped to accommodate various wheelchairs and ECVs.

    Magically,
    Stacy
