    I want to book a fantasamic dining package, we have the dining plan, and it is 180 days out. When I try to book the package, Sep 13 is greyed out. I beleive its because fantasmic schedule isn't up for Sep 13? How can I book the package??

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Booking a Fantasmic! Dinner Package is a good move since you'll enjoy a wonderful meal and have guaranteed seats for the show with much less time waiting in line!  

    I just checked the official Walt Disney World website (disneyworld.disney.go.com) and the schedule for Fantasmic! is now posted through September 14, 2013. On Friday, September 13th, Fantasmic! is scheduled at 8:30 PM. Because seats in the reserved section are not actually assigned, but rather are available on a first-come, first-served basis, I suggest arriving at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater 45 minutes prior to showtime to get the best choice of seats.

    I'm not sure which restaurant you're interested in booking, but in case you don't already know, for an 8:30 PM Fantasmic! show, you can reserve the Fantasmic! Dinner Package for lunch (12:00-3:25 PM) or dinner (3:30-5:30 PM) at Mama Melrose and The Hollywood Brown Derby. The other two dinner package options are an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet at Hollywood & Vine and quick service at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner. 

    As I'm answering your question, I checked availability online for a party of 4 and I was able to get times on September 12th but not on the 13th (even though the 13th is highlighted). It appears that the dinner package times for September 13th are not yet fully active online, but they should be in the next day or two. You can reserve online (click on the first link I provided above) or by calling Disney Dining Reservations at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).
