Ahoy, Hilary!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have an exciting voyage coming up aboard Disney Cruise Line with some friends and family! It really is the best type of vacation to enjoy with others since there is something for everyone, so I know y'all are in for a wonderful and memorable time.
Since cruising with friends and family is quite common, Disney Cruise Line makes planning very simple by allowing you to link your reservations together. When you sign in to the Disney Cruise Line website, you'll want to look under "My Cruise Reservations" and then click on "Add Reservation." This can all be found under the "My Disney Cruise" tab. Hilary, up to four staterooms can be linked together, but you will need to know the other staterooms' confirmation numbers and one member of each cabin's birthdate. Once you are all linked up, you will be able to reserve onboard fun and Port Adventures at the same time as long as your online booking window opens on the same day. If these windows vary, you will need to wait until the last stateroom's window becomes available. Names for everyone you are linked to will appear (if eligible) when you go to book Port Adventures, so you can link a minor child to anyone over 18 in your group.
Once onboard, you'll want to stop by Guest Services to pick up a
Debarkation Authorization for Minors form to fill out. This form gives a minor child permission to disembark with an adult Guest not staying in the same stateroom without their parent and guardian. Guest Services will need to have the form completed before the scheduled Port Adventure.
Hilary, thank you for sending in this excellent question about your upcoming voyage! Please let us know if you need any further assistance with your plans.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
