Welcome to planDisney, Vanessa! You arrive at the
Most Magical Place on Earth as fast as the Halloween pumpkins can turn into Christmas trees! I hope you enjoy watching the theme parks transform for the holidays; get ready to jingle those bells! Let's talk about how Lightning Lane passes will work while your family is soaking up the Yuletide pixie dust.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a fantastic way to reduce wait times for many popular attractions. I recently used it with my sisters, and we quickly got the hang of it. We had a small group, so we stayed together and scheduled our rides for the same time. But the good news is that as long as guests are within the 60-minute window to redeem a Lightning Lane pass, they can go anytime; you don't have to scan in together.
Please remember that you can
choose your next attraction as soon as you scan in for the current one. If some of your guests wait until later in the use window, they might not be able to book the exact attraction and time the rest of the group has. My tip would be to text screenshots when the first group books the next experience so the others can try to find a time that overlaps.
Even if your group gets off-kilter, you can still meet between rides to enjoy meals, snacks, shopping, and more. When you reunite, filling each other in on your adventures can be a trip highlight. My family loves to grab a cold beverage and look at our
Disney PhotoPass photos. It's the perfect way to share those treasured memories.
Vanessa, I hope your family has a practically perfect experience using Lightning Lane passes. You'll have a ho-ho-whole lot of fun! Please stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
