How do I book my DVC stay? I am a member but not seeing anything

    Welcome Home, Lynne!

And a great big beautiful welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning ahead for your next Disney vacation using your Disney Vacation Club Membership. As a Member for the last 22 years, Disney Vacation Club has given our family flexible, affordable family vacations year after year.

Lynne, to book your Disney Vacation Club stay using your Disney Vacation Club Points, remember that you may book your Home Resort beginning 11 months from your desired check-in date.  If eligible, you may book all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts using your Vacation Points beginning 7 months in advance of your desired check-in date.

To do this, you can call Member Services to assist you.  You can also do it online at the Disney Vacation Club website.  First, log in to your account and click on the tab that says "My DVC" on the right.

Then, go to "My Dashboard" and scroll halfway down where it says "Plan My Next Vacation."  You can put in the dates for your desired stay and then click the blue button that says "Check Availability."   You can filter by location or even Resort.

If you are unable to find availability, it could be that you are either outside your 11-month booking window for your Home Resort or 7-month booking window for other DVC Resorts.  Or, it could be that there is no availability at this time for the desired dates.  However, you can keep checking daily - even more than once a day - as availability changes as Guests' plans change.  This is how we secured a booking within three months of our stay.

You also have the option to add your name to a Waitlist.  However, if you are moved off the Waitlist, you will be automatically booked into this stay, and any concurrent bookings you have at the same time will be automatically canceled if you are confirmed into your room.  So I only recommend putting yourself on the Waitlist if you are okay with this, and to remove yourself from the Waitlist if you no longer want to be on it.

I hope this helps you, Lynne. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
