Hi Whitney! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I'm happy to help my fellow May the 4th birthday pal with your admission tickets. I've spent the past couple of years enjoying the festivities during Season of the Force over my birthday weekend. We've typically purchased a 3-day admission ticket with Park Hopper. I always want to enjoy Disneyland Park on my birthday too. That way I can spend some time on Batuu in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. With Park Hopper, I either make my theme park reservation for Disneyland Park and start my day there or make my reservation for Disney California Adventure Park and hop after lunch. Currently, both parks have availability for the length of your stay, so you'll have your pick when you make your selections. However, that can change and theme park reservation availability is not guaranteed. Purchase your
tickets soon for the best selection.
It sounds like you'll want a 4-day ticket. This will cover the length of your holiday. You can then select whether you would like Park Hopper or Lightning Lane Multi Pass as additional options. You'll also have the option to select which park you'd like to visit each day, which becomes your theme park reservation. With Park Hopper, you're choosing the park you want to start your day in. Otherwise, with a one-park per-day admission ticket, you're selecting your park for that day.
You could also select a 3-day ticket if you intend on spending one of your days enjoying the Disneyland Resort Hotel pools, Downtown Disney District, and more. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use. So, you could use the first park day on May 1, hang out at your hotel on May 2, and then spend May 3 and 4 in the parks again. Whatever works for you! Multi-day tickets offer Guests great value, which I certainly appreciate.
My favorite part of Season of the Force is Hyperspace Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park. This thrilling overlay over the iconic Space Mountain takes the Attraction to a different galaxy. I hope it makes its triumphant return this year!
May the Force be with you.
