Welcome to planDisney, Joyce, and Welcome Home!
One of my favorite features of our
Disney Vacation Club Membership is the flexibility of how we use our
Vacation Points. In addition to staying at incredible
DVC Resorts, Members can also use Points to experience
Adventures by Disney,
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and
Disney Cruise Line. Let's take a look at how you can book your Disney Cruise with DVC.
You will need to call
Member Services in order to book your Disney Cruise with Vacation Points. Be sure to start by looking at the
Points Chart to determine which sailing is right for your nautical adventure. When you are ready to book and call DVC Member Services, they will assist you with transferring your Vacation Points into Reservation Points. Since this type of booking is different from a traditional DVC Resort reservation, I will walk you through a few highlights. Each Disney Collection Exchange requires a nonrefundable $95 transaction fee (prices subject to change). Once your Vacation Points have been converted to
Reservation Points, they cannot be changed back and can no longer be used for DVC Resort reservations. Finally, Disney Collection Exchanges (including Disney Cruise Line sailings) follow the Rule of Four, meaning you cannot book travel in the last four months of your Use Year. I hope this helps you use your Membership to experience the magic of sailing into the Big Blue World!
Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are here for all your Disney Vacation Club questions!
Enjoy making magical memories!
