Ahoy there, Hayley,
It is good to have you aboard planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us. I can completely relate to your quandary. Choosing between a
Disney Cruise Line vacation and a
Walt Disney World Resort holiday is like having to choose between whom I love more, Donald or Goofy!
If you decide to
book your October 2024 cruise now, which will help you
secure the very best fare and select the stateroom you have your heart set on, you will be able to
cancel your reservation in most circumstances.
Hayley, cancellation fees may apply in certain situations. Please call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center at (800) 951-3532 for assistance with reservations that have been paid in full, made with a Future Cruise Credit, or booked under a restricted rate or the Concierge category. I encourage you to read the Terms and Conditions of your Disney Cruise for the specific details of a variety of aspects relating to ticketing and cancellation.
You can
cancel your reservation online by following a few easy steps: Sign in to your Disney account via
My Reservations and select
Modify Reservation. From the Modify Reservation page, select the reservation you would like to modify. You can change your sail date, edit your travel party, modify your stateroom or cancel your reservation.
Please note that if you booked through a Travel Agency, you would need to contact the agency, rather than Disney Cruise Line directly, in order to cancel or modify your cruise vacation.
Now, if you then decide to book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, the easiest thing to do is to book that vacation separately either online or by calling a helpful member of the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Hayley. If you have any other questions about planning a Disney Cruise Line or a Walt Disney World Resort holiday, please don’t hesitate to
write back and allow me the pleasure of assisting you!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
