Hi, Sarah! You are taking me straight to my happy place. I absolutely adore the
Candlelight Processional, and it's a must do for me every year. I'm pretty sure it's where my Christmas spirit comes from each year.
Information for dates and dinner packages for the event usually begin to come out around the end of June or early July. Taking place at
Epcot, and usually beginning the night after Thanksgiving, this classic story of the Nativity is narrated by a celebrity guest, and the story is musically accompanied by a 50 piece orchestra and a phenomenal choir. It's absolutely beautiful, and while I often think people get tired of me saying how much I love stuff at
Walt Disney World, I could not be more adamant that this is my absolute favorite thing at Disney.
While you may find a short list of celebrity narrators when the information on this year's Candlelight Processional is announced, the full list may not be out until early fall. While the celebrity guests are subject to change, if you have your heart set on a particular celebrity when you see the list, especially if that celebrity is Neil Patrick Harris, book that dinner package as soon as you can! Some of the narrators are very popular, and if you wait until the last minute to book a dinner package when they are going to be narrating, you may not be able to get the restaurant that you want.
There will be a special Candlelight Processional
advanced dining reservation option. You won't need to book a restaurant until the packages are available.
Enjoy this incredible show!
