Hello Brittany!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to detail the latest
Disability Access Service (DAS) information as you prepare for your next visit.
DAS is available for guests who have trouble waiting in a traditional queue due to a disability. The registration process is currently done via a
Live Video Chat which can be completed 30 days before your trip begins. Be sure your tickets and/or Vacation Package are linked to your MyDisney Account and you are connected with your travel party via the Family & Friend list before completing the approval process. Once approved, DAS is valid for the length of your ticket or up to 240 days, whichever comes first.
In the past, some DAS selections could be made in advance of your visit. However, the program went through some changes last year, and selections are now available one at a time
on the day of your visit via the My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you will not have access to a smartphone or compatible device during your visit, Cast Members at Guest Relations and those stationed under
Guest Experience Team umbrellas in the parks can assist in obtaining return times throughout the day. Keep in mind that these Cast Members are unable to offer approvals for DAS on-site. If you are unable to complete the Video Chat in advance of your visit, you'll be directed to do so from your compatible device once you arrive.
I hope this helped, Brittany. If you have additional questions or need further clarification please don't hesitate to come back and let us know. I'd also like to share details for
additional disability and accessibility services available across the resort, including
Sensory Experience Details for attractions and entertainment.
Wishing you a magical trip,
Amy
