How do I book a cruise??

    Ahoy Gene!

Thanks for sailing back to planDisney. I see that my pal Keri answered your last question about booking a Disney Cruise Line sailing using your Disney Vacation Club Membership Points. I haven't done this yet myself, but I'm also a Disney Vacation Club Member and I'm definitely keeping the idea handy for future travel plans.

If you're still hoping to convert your Membership Points you'll need to book your itinerary by contacting Member Services at (800) 800-9800. However, if you'd prefer to book your Disney Cruise Line itinerary outside of your Disney Vacation Club allotments you have a few options.

First, you can navigate over to the "Plan a Cruise" header online to review the available itineraries and even filter by departure date, departure port, ship, and length of sailing. As a Florida resident, you may also be able to take advantage of special offers and discounts on select itineraries. Additionally, early 2025 itineraries were just released and there are tons of great options to choose from.

Once you've narrowed down your preferred sailing, you can complete the booking online with an initial deposit. If you need assistance with completing your reservation you can also contact a Disney Cruise Line Crew Member by phone. They'll be able to create your reservation, help you select a stateroom and dinner seating, and answer additional questions about your specific itinerary. When your cruise is paid in full and your booking window opens you'll also be able to add onboard activities like adult-exclusive meals and spa services, as well as Port Adventures to your reservation.

My family has had the privilege of sailing on Disney Fantasy,  Disney Dream and Disney Wish so far, and we are very much looking forward to experiencing Disney Treasure when it debuts next year. Disney Dream has been our favorite to date, but we've loved each of the magical vacations at sea we've experienced.

I hope this was helpful Gene. If you'd like personalized recommendations or suggestions for narrowing down your ship or itinerary please come back and let us know. We always love sharing our favorite experiences and best tips with guests.

    Wishing you a magical cruise,
    Amy
