how do i book 2 connecting rooms with hopefully 2 queen beds in each room?

    chEARs Julie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a fantastic vacation coming up with more than a “few” friends! Now more than ever is the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World; there are so many exciting things happening. I don’t know whether I’m more excited for the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge or the brand new Disney’s Riviera Resort!

It sounds like you are in the process of booking your Resort hotel. When you scroll through the Walt Disney World Resort options, you can filter by location and size. The majority of the rooms have two queen beds, but there are some exceptions, so make sure to view photos of the rooms. They are an accurate reflection of the room layout. Once you have picked your Resort, you will need to make two separate room reservations (unless you decide to stay all together in a Disney Vacation Club Villa).

Once you make the reservations, you can call (407) 934-7639 with your request. If you need to be next door to each other, I would suggest using the word “connecting.” If you are ok with your party being nearby, you can use “adjoining.” It also doesn’t hurt to have a face-to-face at the Front Desk on arrival! Quick note though, I’m sure the Cast Members at the hotel will bend over backward to honor your request, but ultimately it is not guaranteed.

Once you’ve called, take advantage of the My Disney Experience app to finish the check-in process! On the first day of your stay, you will even get updates when your room is ready! I love getting the Welcome! ping followed by the “Room Ready” text. It is so convenient and allows you to focus on fun rather than waiting for your room. Once you return to your hotel, you can use the app to unlock your hotel room door! So.Much.Fun!

Julie, I hope your request gets a dose of Pixie Dust, and your vacation is magical with connecting rooms!
