Hiya, Kelly!
Thanks so much for stopping by with this great question.
Character dining is something that is very close to my heart. In fact, my family enjoys a character dining experience almost every day on our usual vacation. I find that it is a great way for my kids to get some great physically-distanced personal interaction with their favorite friends.
You can book your character dining reservation up to 60-days in advance. In fact, if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can book your character dining 60-days from your check-in date for the length of your trip!
What you will want to do is to log into your
My Disney Experience Account. Then, select "Things to Do" from the menu at the top and click "
Make Reservations." Here, you can search reservations by meal or time, and even filter your options so that you only see character meals.
My family's absolute favorite meal is
Breakfast à la Art at Topolino's Terrace.
Feast on Sour Cream Waffles or more hearty fare like Wood-fired Butchers Steak while Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy promenade through the restaurant. You really can't beat the food or the view from the top floor of Disney's Riviera Resort.
In the theme parks, my family enjoys
Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is a great option for a mid-day break, or even breakfast to start your day with a younger audience at the Disney Junior Play n' Dine.
Garden Grill Restaurant is another fantastic option in EPCOT and gives you a chance to hang out with some very nutty chipmunks.
Now, Kelly, reservations do book up pretty quickly, but they are updated in real-time. So if you can not snag your preferred reservation, keep trying! I usually have great luck the week before, or even the night before we leave.
I hope that this helped, Kelly. Please come back here if we can answer any other questions to help make your trip practically perfect in every way.
