    I would like to book a character breakfast, but I can’t find any for either day I’m there. I’ve filigreed by breakfast and character dining, times, locations. Please help me. I’m traveling with my 3 year old.

There's so much to look forward to at Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation, especially The World's Most Magical Celebration and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I bet you can’t wait!

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a frustrating experience trying to book a Character Dining breakfast reservation. There are only four restaurants on property that have Character Dining experiences available for breakfast at this time (Chef Mickey’s, Hollywood & Vine, Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera, and Tusker House Restaurant), so I believe that is why you’ve had such a struggle finding availability. If I had the power to wave a magic wand and secure one of these coveted reservations for you and your little Mouseketeer, I would. What I can do is assure you not to give up hope. Plans change all the time, so there’s still a good chance something could open up before you arrive. I looked for months before my last trip for a reservation at ‘Ohana for dinner with no luck. Once we were at Walt Disney World Resort, I checked one morning and was able to find and book a reservation for later that evening on the same day.

    I know you don’t want to continue checking day after day for openings, but that’s honestly the best advice I could give you. Try checking once early in the morning and once later in the evening. You mentioned you’ve filtered the results by breakfast when searching, but click on every individual time option under “Search By Time” when checking, not just a blanketed time filter like breakfast. Many times reservations will show up that weren’t there initially, and I’ve had much success finding hard-to-get reservations this way.

    If you still aren’t able to find a reservation after checking consistently, then you should utilize the Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability feature in your My Disney Experience Mobile App as a last resort. Subject to availability, this feature allows you to join the same-day walk-up list at select restaurants on property. Each morning of your two days here, go to "Check Dining Availability" in your mobile app, then input your party size and select the current date. A time slot option for "Now" under "Search by Time” should show up. When you click on it, any restaurants with current walk-up dining availability will pop up. If you see an opening at any of the Character Dining restaurants for breakfast, book it and immediately head to that restaurant.
