Hi Sara Beth, and welcome back to planDisney! My family loves to plan a resort day following a few busy days in the theme parks. And a cabana is the perfect way to relax in a little luxury by the pool! Now let’s chat about how you can snag one for your trip.
Cabana rentals are considered an
Enchanting Extra, which means, as a Disney Resort hotel guest, you can book them up to
60 days before your check-in date at the Grand Floridian for your entire stay (up to a 10-night stay). They’re very popular, so be sure to call right when your booking window opens!
As you’re thinking about any other reservations you’d like to make, I wanted to suggest a couple of my favorites at your resort hotel. First, my family loves to start the day with breakfast at the
Grand Floridian Cafe. If you like eggs benedict, they usually have a couple of different versions, such as a unique Floridian-style one. And the
Garden View Lounge - Tea Room Experience is
returning to the Grand Floridian in March and can be booked starting February 19th. I had afternoon tea here years ago with my mom and sister, and I'm so excited that it’ll be open again soon! The small bites will be themed to Alice in Wonderland, and this is sure to be a hot reservation. So if you’re interested in this experience, mark your calendar for February 19th and don’t be late for this very important date!
Finally, don’t forget that you can check out the Grand Floridian Resort activity schedule ahead of time on the
Recreation page (you can also usually also find it posted in the lobby or near the pool). There are lots of fun activities throughout your stay, like a Storytime Yoga Class and Video Game Dance Party. I also have a stay coming up at the Grand Floridian Resort and am most excited about the Paint Your Own Animation Cel activity!
I’m wishing you the most magical stay at the Grand Floridian Resort in April! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
