I want to book a budget friendly trip, but dont want to miss out on important things. I have 2 girls age 8 & 9. what do you suggest?

    Pam,

Just because you are on a budget doesn't mean you have to miss out on any of the fun!

Tip 1: Stay at a Value resort. That is a lot of savings right there. You can still go to the restaurants of the larger resorts, if you so desire.

Tip 2: Use the Disney Dining Plan. Find the one that best matches how you think you will eat (Standard, Deluxe, Quick Service), and know that you are going to save money there too.
Personal note: I would guess that the Deluxe is probably not ideal for you, with two younger girls. That is a lot of food for younger kids, and the Standard or Quick Service might be a better choice.

Tip 3: Plan your park days. Figure out how many days you need at each park, and plan them to avoid needing to buy the park hopper option.

Tip 4: Let your resort pool be your water park. Water parks are great, but the pools can be more than enough. Save money there too!

I am glad to get more in detail on some money saving tips. Just write me back with follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
