    Going to book Afternoon Tea at GF on 23/9, will be at epcot that day, how much time should we allow for travelling to GF. Can we then go back to epcot to have dinner at coral reef? Can we look round the GF hotel?? X

    Hi Amy,

    I adore having tea at the Grand Floridian. It's so civilized and relaxing, almost like the grown-up version of playing princess.

    Getting to the Grand Floridian from Epcot is an easy two-step process. First, hop on the monorail at Epcot heading to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Once you get to the TTC, switch to the resort line monorail and take it two stops to the Floridian. I would allow about 45 minutes total travel time. You may experience something shorter than this, but I like to be better safe than sorry.

    Touring the Disney resorts is a wonderful pastime. You are free to walk around the Grand Floridian at your leisure. The hotel is beautiful, with scenic vistas and lovely shops. Take your time looking around.

    You could certainly return to Epcot after tea. To get back to Epcot, hop on the monorail at Floridian and take it three stops to the TTC, then transfer to the monorail headed back to Epcot.

    With any WDW theme park ticket, you are welcome to leave the park and return later in the day. With a base ticket, you can leave and return to the same park. With a Park Hopper ticket, you can leave and return to any of the four theme parks.

    So for example, if you have a base ticket and are spending the morning at Epcot, you are welcome to leave and return later to Epcot. There's no need for a Park Hopper to do this. However, if you want to leave the Epcot and later visit the Magic Kingdom, you would need the Park Hopper ticket.
