Want to book ADR @ Rainforest Cafe at AK on our way out of the park. Right now shows park close @5 for Oct. Last year, I remember it changed from 5-6 closer to Oct? What time would you suggest if we want as much park time as possible? Thanks!

Hi Bethany,

While I have never been to this Rainforest Cafe, I have been to one near my home. What a fun place to enjoy a meal.

With the park currently closing at 5:00 pm, you will still have about 30 minutes to wander the stores before you need to head out for the day. This would place you about 5:30 to dine at Rainforest Cafe. However, when you make an Advance Dining Reservation (ADR), you can check in 30 minutes prior to your dining time.

With this in mind, I would recommend a 6:00 pm dining time. This gives you maximum time in the park. If the park hours should change to 6:00, you head to the restaurant for 6:00. If the schedule does not change from a 5:00 pm close, enjoy the park and the stores until 5:30 and then head over to the restaurant and check in early. This restaurant is like an attraction itself and the wait is fun.
