    Boma or Whispering canyon for dinner. We have two kids ages 10 and 8.

    Hi Scott!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  You are considering two amazing and very unique dining locations for your upcoming trip. I have enjoyed many meals at Whispering Canyon Cafe and just recently experienced my first dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa.

    If you were traveling sans kids, I would suggest Boma; however, based on the ages of your children, I would have to recommend Whispering Canyon Cafe.  As a mom of four children ranging from nine to sixteen, I can honestly say that Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of my family's favorite places to dine when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. There's never a dull moment at this Western-themed restaurant complete with a Lincoln log table, hobby horse races and fun antics by the wait staff. For a fun surprise, be sure to ask for ketchup.
